If you chose the wedding to be shot digitally the price overall is cheaper and in the long run you get more images to chose from. I don't have to be concerned about the number of rolls of film and you won't have the extra cost of extra rolls of film. It also allows me the option of checking the photographs as I go, assuring perfect photographs. I shoot with a professional digital SLR. Giving quality equal to a film based camera and even allow a shallow depth of field as with this photograph.
